I think a doula is a given. She, it has to be all mothers have to 200% have a doula, regardless whether they’re going to have a water birth or a vaginal birth or a natural birth or a C-section because she’s a guide, you know, she will take, she literally holds your hand right from your first contraction till breastfeeding.
So it could take five hours, it could get three days, but she’s there with you. She’s a guiding force and one definitely needs a guide throughout the labor process.
