We know that when mothers sing to their babies, cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone actually reduces. So when you’re singing to your baby, not only do the cortisol levels in your baby, go down, but also in the mother, they go down as well and they stay reduced for 25 minutes. That’s an amazing parenting hack for us as moms to be able to use when we’re singing lullabies and getting, trying to get our children to calm down, and to go to sleep, to use music, to soothe and to calm.

And it will not only work on their babies. It will work on us too.
