In the first trimester when we see a pregnancy at 13 weeks and during the empty scan of the placenta, invariably, you saw it in the lower uterial segments. Because the uterus is not so much expanded. And so many people get confused because it’s a low lying placenta and they feel it’s going to be some issue in the long term. As the uterus expands and pregnancy goes forward, the placenta normally migrates off.
Any placenta, which is more than seven centimeters from the internal systems is considered normal and anything above five, they can easily take a child for it.
